RightFit Tallahassee Insulation Services, tallahasseeinsulationcontractor.com, support@tallahasseeinsulationcontractor.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work RightFit Tallahassee Insulation Services does at your home or building. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them, so please read them before you schedule.

If something in a signed estimate or work agreement for your job differs from these terms, the signed document wins for that job. You can start from our home page or learn more about us if you want to know who you'd be working with.

What we do

We're an insulation contractor in Tallahassee, FL, serving Tallahassee and the cities around it. Our work includes attic, wall and crawl space insulation, blown-in and spray foam insulation, air sealing, which means closing gaps before we insulate, vapor barriers and removal of old insulation.

The scope of your job is whatever your written estimate or agreement describes. Anything outside it, including work we find once your attic or crawl space is open, is extra work, and we'll talk with you before we do it.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free and on site, with no pressure and no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, such as how many inches are already up there, how easy the space is to reach and what needs sealing or removing first.

Prices on the website are general information, not an offer, and only a written estimate sets the price for your job. If we find something that changes the work, such as old insulation that's wet or full of droppings, we'll stop, explain it and give you a revised price, and we won't go ahead without your OK.

Scheduling and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you, and weather, material delays or what we find in the space can move it, so we'll tell you as soon as we know. You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas and to clear stored items from the attic or crawl space when we ask.

Some jobs, such as spray foam, have a re-entry time, which is how long people and pets should stay out before coming back in. We'll tell you that time before the job, and you agree to follow it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as you can by phone at (850) 222-9906 or through our contact page. If we've already ordered special materials for your job, you may owe for them as your agreement describes.

Payment

Payment is due as stated in your estimate or agreement, and some jobs may need a deposit before we order materials. If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is settled.

You're responsible for any reasonable collection costs if an unpaid balance has to be collected, to the extent Florida law allows.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and insured, and we guarantee your satisfaction on every job we do. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.

Apart from that guarantee and anything written in your agreement, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, written or implied, to the extent the law allows. Product warranties come from the makers of the materials we install, and we'll pass along whatever paperwork they provide.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of a room or changes in your power bill, or for conditions that were already in your house before we started.

We also aren't responsible for problems caused by others, by delays outside our control or by changes made to our work after we leave. Nothing here limits any responsibility that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first, because most issues get settled with a conversation and a return visit. If we can't work it out, we each agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.

Any lawsuit about our work or these terms will be filed in the courts serving Leon County, Florida, unless the law requires otherwise. Small claims court is always open to either of us for claims that qualify.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies going forward. Jobs already under a signed agreement keep the terms that were in place when you signed.

If you have a question about any of this, reach us through our contact page and we'll reply within one business day.
